Monday, February 28th

While I continue to catch up on way-laid work, old emails and new vacation plans, Craig has been working on the boat.

This week’s project was adding a door to an open cabinet.  Nothing is ever as simple as it seems…..from finding wood that matches and hinges that fit to repairing a ragged floor edge that’s now visible.  This was a project that consumed Craig’s time and thoughts.

He’d come in every night to tell me about the day’s work and the problems he was trying to resolve but I couldn’t offer much assistance.  I tried to be helpful but all I heard was “door….blah, blah, blah……frame…..blah, blah, blah…..floor…..blah, blah, blah.”

He finished his project today and he’s very pleased with the result.  I must admit, it looks pretty good…….
