Boxing Day in Britain…..Laundry day in Languedoc.

Hoping that the laundromat would be quiet on a holiday weekend, we went to Narbonne to do the laundry…..at least the laundry that’s still in our possession since our luggage still hasn’t been found.

We were right…..the laundromat was empty so we finished ours in record time and headed home to cook our belated Christmas dinner…..created with help from cooking shows on British telly…..pork roast, Chestnut & Cranberry Stuffing Roll, green beans and a Chocolate-Orange Brioche Pudding for dessert.

After so many busy travel days, it’s good to have so little to do.

Dolce far niente…..how sweet to do nothing
